Australian Wool Innovation, AWI Marquee is the centrepiece for the show's Wool feature and will host the official opening followed by the sashing of Miss Wellington Showgirl 2010 and the stunning AWI Wool Fashion Parade. The Wellington District been associated with the wool industry for decades and is proud to be home to some of Australia's best shearers and SRS wool.  The Wool and Fleece judging will be held in the AWI Marquee.

The Music Spectacular will host both local and out of town bands, appeal to both young and old and will round up an exciting day of activities.  During the day bands will break for Kick boxing, dancing displays and much much more.

Wellington Shears - Shearing and Woolhandling Competition commences at 8.30am sharp.  See our best shearers and woolhandlers in action as they compete for the coveted open crowns.  Wellington Shears has become one the biggest shearing competitions in NSW and sets the stage for the NSW State Selections in Dubbo the following weekend. 

Junior Judging Competition - Wellington recently hosted the very successful Zone Junior Judging finals - all young judges should register their interest with the Secretary wellingtonshowsociety@hotmail.com

Horse Events

With the Equine Flu behind us, we are delighted to have a full schedule of events for the Show.  Don't forget Homebrew, Beaut Ute, Pet Parade, Junior & Tiny Tots Competition and place your entries in the numerous classes in Needlework, Fine Arts, Craft, Flower and Pot Plant displays.
