5th - Community Family Fun Day. To be held at Cameron Park from 11am to 3pm.

July

24 - Clare Holman's Music Trivia Night. Starts 7pm at Wellington Soldiers' Memorial Club.

23rd - Wellington Lions Club to host benefit dinner for Telstra Child Flight. Entertainment by country music performer Christina George. To be held at the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club starting at 6.30pm. Cost is $38 per head.

24th - Macquarie Poultry Club annual show. Head to the Wellington Showground and inspect some of the best poultry in the region. Visitors are welcome from 9am with a cooked breakfast and /or lunch available for a small fee.

24th - Xmas in July Wild Wild West Night. Mumbil Community Hall from 6pm until late. Tickets $10 adults, $5 children 5-12 years, under 5 free. BYO drinks and nibbles. Bbq dinner (included in ticket price) from 6.30pm to 8pm. Tickets available at Mumbil Store and Burrendong Hotel.

19th - A fundraiser is being held for talented local singer Jono Nicholson  helping him on the road to Tamworth. This event will be held from 11am to 5pm at the Wellington Bowling Club. Tickets cost $20 which includes a buffet style lunch. A host of local talent will take to the stage during the event.

19th - Picnic, Poetry and Prostanthera Day to be held at Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum. The day will include children's craft / painting/ treasure hunt, displays of native plant photos as well as a poetry session and advice on propagation, planting and pruning. Plant sales and free guided walks will also be held. For more information phone 6846 7432.

Held on the last Saturday of each month on the corner of Percy Street and Nanima Crescent.  Find Out More!

Mumbil Markets

The Mumbil Markets have recently kicked off with stallholders heading to the village's Community Hall between 9am and 2pm on the third Saturday of each month. If you are interested in having a stall at the markets please contact Marcus Hanney on 0417 467 459.

 

Country Music Artists and Supporters Association

Monthly Social at "Frog's Hollow Country Tavern", Wellington Bowling Club.  Held on the first Sunday of the month.

 

Burrendong Botanic Gardens and Arboretum

Free Guided Tours held on the third Sunday of the month from March to November.  11am to 3pm.
